How does the 30-day free trial work?

You can test the greenpass Climate Check and EU Taxo Check for 30 days in the STARTER version (with 3 scenarios) without obligation. The trial subscription is limited to one location and can be activated once per organization.

Activating the trial subscription works without providing credit card information. Simply select and register for the STARTER package. At the end of the checkout process, you confirm the start of the 30-day free trial. After a short verification, your account will be activated within 48 hours, and you will receive your access data via email.

You will receive a reminder email from us before the end of the free trial. If you do not decide on a license package, you can cancel your trial subscription at any time during the trial period free of charge.

Can I add additional locations/assets or scenarios to my plan?

Yes. Additional locations and/or scenarios can be added at any time via an add-on to the respective package price. You can then use your additional locations and scenarios during your billing period.

What is the difference between Climate Check and EU Taxo Check?

The greenpass Climate Check is a holistic assessment of climate proofing (climate risk + climate mitigation + climate change adaptation) and is based on the location and characteristics of an asset. One or more scenarios can be assessed for each asset.

The greenpass EU Taxonomy Check builds on the Climate Check and allows for a comprehensive compliance check according to the requirements of the EU Taxonomy. The EU Taxonomy Check includes a review of all six environmental objectives (including climate mitigation + climate change adaptation) in the form of an expanded questionnaire, taking into account the results of the Climate Check.

Is there any help with entering and implementing the data?

Yes. You can use the Climate Check and EU Taxo Check with our software on your own or with the support of our support platform. We are also happy to assist you with the implementation of these services directly. Simply book the Data Input Add-On or the Full-Service package (including data acquisition).

How does the greenpass subscription work?

Select your greenpass plan with the number of locations you need. The billing period is 12 months from the subscription activation date. The annual subscription is renewed annually (every 12 months) after the activation date with the number of locations (quota).

What is the quota and what happens to unused checks?

The quota corresponds to the number of locations in your subscription package. You can purchase additional locations as add-ons at any time. Unused or open locations/queries expire at the end of the billing period.

How long are the results and checks valid?

The checks (Climate Check or EU Taxo Check) are officially valid for 12 months. The expiration date is shown on the green pass and the report. It is recommended to conduct an annual check for your locations to keep the database for projects, portfolio analysis, and reporting up to date. The projects and results of previously completed checks remain in your account after the expiration date.

Can I upgrade and/or cancel my subscription?

The subscription plan can be upgraded at any time for the next billing period, e.g., from STARTER to BASIC. The subscription plan and the number of add-ons can be downgraded or canceled up to three months before renewal, valid for the next billing period. The projects and results of previously completed checks will be retained.

Is the Climate Check and EU Taxo Check by greenpass acknowledged?

The greenpass Climate Check and EU Taxo Check are based on 10+ years of research and development, as well as state-of-the-art technologies, and were developed in close collaboration with users, international universities, subject matter experts, and auditors.

The checks and the greenpass are accepted as scientifically based verification by regulatory organizations and bodies, such as auditors, banks, cities, and municipalities. According to the terms of use, the user of the climate check is liable for the accuracy of the information. We are also happy to support you with direct implementation of the services.

We also recommend the use of a greenpass Certification with a digital twin and expert simulation.

Which payment options are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal as payment methods. Bank transfer is also possible upon request. The annual subscription is due upon activation. Your payment transactions and data are secured with the payment provider Zoho Billing/Payment and processed in a PCI-compliant manner. You can easily manage your payments, data, and subscriptions in the greenpass Customer Portal.

What is the greenpass Fair Use Policy?
